Our Doctor
Dr. Bagwasi was born and raised in Botswana, Southern Africa. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from University Of Missouri- St. Louis (UMSL). He then graduated from UMSL School of Optometry in 2003. For the past 20 years Dr Bagwasi has practised optometry in Fairview Heights IL, South County, Maplewood and O'Fallon, MO. He is a member of National Optometry Association. For years he participated in InfantSee, a pediatric free eye exams through American Optometry Association.
Dr. Bagwasi enjoys a good conversation with his patients from whom he learns everyday. Because of his experience in the profession and the region, Dr. Bagwasi has a network of resources and specialists to refer his patients to should the need arise.
Dr. Bagwasi is inspired and driven by his faith in God. He enjoys time with his family; a wife, four kids, a dog and three cats! He also likes gardening, bee keeping, travelling and music.
